Sambar Vada Mokkai and Naxal Narads

A phase that bristles with aimless lolling does not ever fall short of any kind of hackneyed drivels. People meeting, is not something new. But in one such lulls, the schmooze with the president, visa officer and the salsa guru straddled a sea of stuffs ranging from the visa officer’s secret kids to the president’s next fiscal year to salsa guru’s steps in to future. Well, all this was happening over the fripps and bananas (unusual snacks because of unusual hunger at awkward time) that gave me the energy for the next 3 hours of drain. One thing that shot up eventually was the logic of plagiarism.  At the very moment, the highly stressed out but jobless idlers called graduate brains set to work in chorus ,the distinction between creativity and plagiarism and all of us put it down on a very broad sense.

Who copied whom and who was creative. I am not really sure if the other three present there really liked what was said. It was about the greatest epics and greatest poems.  It was spontaneous and there was no intended blasphemy. It is very obvious that the source was one. Just one of them was creative and the other or I should better note it as rest was plagiarized. Just because the Greeks (civilization)are no more today and nobody is going to champion their cause, it doesn’t behove us to put them on trial. One of them was creative enough and the other was wily enough to recast the characters, the culture, the tradition and the names!!

Concoction of extracts.

Putting it down in simple language.

Homer, Valmiki, Vyas and a myriad of unknown writers who wrote the most influential stories of all time did exactly what our film directors; especially the ones in the different Woods in India are offering us.  These guys are catering to local or rather the regional needs and aspirations of the people. The lead characters have to be changed, the culture has to be changed, and the plot and the intensities of different scenes have to be changed. Down in the south, the larger flock needs more mass. The term mass has a very wide range of meaning in the southern states. But the general idea is heroism.
Curse me. I should say “superheroism”. In addition in their movies all the southerners like a bit of heroine with bits of clothes about to slip anytime (unfortunately fortunate). Chennaites are even more demanding for the movie to do well at the box office: either the hero (despite posing as a superhero) or the heroine or both must die a gory death.
This is a lot of work.
The Greek culture is more erotic. Their view of woman is more of a pleasure toy. My Greek friend, please don’t mistake me for putting this here. This knowledge of mine comes from the views of western historians. But I could not find any other source which paints a better picture. So if you or anybody else reading the post gets an opinion of the Greek society which is different from my knowledge, you are more than free to cite and I shall change my views.
Back: Even the Greek gods were lustful.
That is the reason Helen eloped with Paris and was not abducted. The Greeks were a male chauvinistic society (Indians are better!!!).  The ideology of Gays is said to have stemmed from the Greek’s treatment of women as Pariah and hence the inhabitants of Lesbos.
In contrast, though the Indian society was maniacally male chauvinistic considering women to worship their male counterpart, it always showed woman in good light. There were so many woman goddesses who were treated on par with their spouses.  That is why Sita was abducted and did not elope with Ravan.
Krishna's heel and achilles heel , Draupadi and helen, Sita and persephone, Indra and brahma with zeus, thus go the other differences between the epic and the poem.
An individual’s character changed with the culture they followed and that’s how their beliefs changed.
Creativity seems to have an edge over plagiarism on all lines morally and legally up until it crosses the misnomer of plagiarism called patent. Creativity does not hold well against the chronological advances of patents.
Portuguese set foot first but British patented India. Bose asked for swarjya but Gandhi patented Independece, Gandhi asked for independence first, but Jinnah patented Pakistan, Bose invented it first but Marconi patented wireless, Patel united but Nehru patented, the farmers of Punjab did it while Swaminathan patented it, Russia fraternized china patented communism, Chappel coached but Kirsten patented …and the atrocity of patent just goes on till History happened but Nostalgia patented it.
The concept of patenting is the most misused and is the most gullible to tricksters in modern world.  Though I have used plagiarism and patent in almost replaceable context yet they stand with a horizon in between them.

Getting to the issue

The Nehruvian dream of asian axis, hind chin bhai bhai has always remained a dream and there is no light anywhere in the tunnel. India governs Aksai chin and arunachal Pradesh but China wants the patent!! Crap…

No Xiongdi  Yes Naxals

The claim of Tawang and the occupation of Aksai Chin have damaged the Indian pride enough.  These show how incapacitated India is despite the multidimensional growth. These also indicate the lack of diplomatic strategies. Again here, I don’t want to say that India lacks very good diplomats. The games of politics and sleazy people have rather rendered the diplomats ineffective.
This just makes India look like a goat volunteering its neck on the bloody altar.
The railway lines in PoK, Hydel power generation in Pak, separate visas for JnK residents, painting in red, cross border fire, instigating more sealed Nepal border.
These are the recent provocations India has faced:  Chevvys not by the old now withered petty rival but the long persisting, long ignored rival of colossal proposition.
China has now gone to the extent to say that the Lama’s trip to Tawang is the result of India’s pressure.
Adding to the burning pyre, are the naxals being motivated by China?!  Or Nepal?! Train hijack and killings. The recent news is that the highly affluent and famous industrialists are funding the naxals !
Terrorists, Naxalites, separatists, fanatics, hooligans and fundamentalists are mostly the results of joblessness, disparity, lack of facilities, nepotism, bigotry, corruption etc., These are thriving in India.
The naxals target the poor and the weak people and the areas lacking development and infrastructure.
Well, looking at the Naxal map from Wikipedia, the map is incomplete in the sense that it does not show the NE states as naxal affected. The only states that are totally free from trace naxal activity are TN Rajasthan, Gujrat and the north. Well there is Pakistan in the north to cause disturbance from north. Gujarat and TN: Well, nothing can enter these states when they have leaders who take care of everything in the state.  There is virtually no state in India free from nonsense of this kind.

This article from rediff sheds enough light on Naxals:

The naxals are even encouraging the Telangana separatists.  The new leadership unit that has started guiding the naxals has been the most underrated development in the last year. This movement is more cold blooded and is destined to do anything to gain media attention. Some of the terrifying moves include the capture of Lalgarh, beheading an inspector and the train hijack.
The government has revised its usual strategies against naxals and has intensified the moves against them. The result is that the normally conservative naxals who are more intent on silently spreading their ideologies have started to seek media attention. What is needed is a rampant change in the approach of the government towards the naxals of the sort of Kishenji, the Andhra born Bengal based naxal activist.
